While there may be the courtyard at St. de Oro High School and the quad at Bajas University, there isn't anywhere else (developed) for outdoor enjoyment. That's where Parque de las Estatuas comes in. "Statue Park" literally is a park towards the center of Isla de Bronce, just far enough away from the mall to be comfortable. Though no statues exist in the park, the name comes from the idea that bronze is often used in making statues.
